Bio

Born in Quebec, Canada, 1987
2014-2015 Studied 3D modeling at Lasalle, Montréal

As you can see, I studied 3D modeling, but the course was more generalist than the specific title appears.
Indeed, we studied game design, level design, scenography to only name a few. Thus, I believe I am pretty versatile. Not only that, but my score average at 93% which I am pretty proud of.

That being said, I come from a construction background. In other words, I worked as a land surveyor on major projects such as highways, bridges and even windmills. This experience gave me a lot of knowledge about how major infrastructures are built and I can use that experience in video games to make well though levels designs in a realistic manner.

I also own a firearm license and I recently started a small collection. The fact that I am comfortable using the real thing, give me an edge to make firearms in 3D and how they should feel in video games.

That being said, I am a friendly,  laid back kind of guy. I stay frosty in all situations and assess problems with a clear mind. I am good team player and I always consider others opinions, ideas and critiques to adapt and improve.

Outside my video game making/playing passion. I spend time outside hiking in the forest daily. I also like to renovate my house and build various things out of wood. But of course, my most time consuming but most enjoyable activity is taking care of my awesome daughter and my beautiful wife.

What I do:

  • I capture my own references using high quality camera

  • I make my own models using 3DS MAX/ZBRUSH

  • I unwrap said models perfectly

  • I make my own original and high quality textures

  • I make normal maps using ZBRUSH/CrazyBump

  • I sketch my levels design using Sketchup

  • I build my levels in UDK
